This is a course I’ve create to help my fellow writers who are experiencing writer’s block.

There’s nothing more frustrating than experiencing writer’s block. You’re writing a book and suddenly you aren’t inspired and you don’t know what to do to start writing again.

Let me show you how to unblock your writer’s block.

You will learn:

  • The difference between writer’s block and Burnout.
  • Why there are multiple ways to write and multiple solutions for writer’s block
  • How to optimize your approach for unblocking writing, based on what already works for you.

When you are done with this class you will have multiple techniques and tools at your disposal to help you unblock your writing.

What is Writer's Block?

I define what writer's block is and explain how it is different from burnout.

Why there are multiple techniques for dealing with writer's block?

I explain why there are multiple techniques for writer's block.

Writing does not have to be a full time job

I explain why writing doesn't have to be a fulltime job and why you may not want it to be.

Writing is not always fun

I explain why writing isn't always fun and why this can be okay.

Acknowledge the block has to do with writing

I explain why it can be helpful to acknowledge that the writer's block has to do with the writing.

Read through the existing writing

I explain why reading through your existing writing can help you release a writer's block.

Do something else

I explain the value of doing something else to work through the block.

Examine your routines

I explain why it can be helpful to evaluate the routines.

Skip ahead in your writing

I explain why it can be useful to write a different part of the book.

Meditate

I explain the value of meditation for working through writer's block.
