Who is this course for?
Anyone who has aspired to write memoir but isn't sure how to get started, what to include or leave out what to write next, or if what you’re writing is even any good.
Overview
Writing memoirs have been one of the most rewarding adventures of my life.
It’s a chance to understand your life in new ways, to share your story with people who need to hear it, to express yourself creatively, and to experience fun moments like TV interviews, book signings, and more.
You have a story. In fact, you have hundreds. There’s no doubt about that.
Let me help you tell them, with a step-by-step plan you can use again and again, whether you write one book or fifty.
This formula has worked for thousands of writers. It will work for you.
You can do this.
What You'll Learn
The powerful structure virtually all the best memoirs follow.
How to create a clear argument and plot line for your book.
The key scenes you must include no matter what you’re writing about.
The 3W Formula for writing memoir — once you understand this, everything changes.
The exact system I use to edit all of my manuscripts.
How to accelerate your writing process (with a workbook and specific punch lists).
How to write a truly compelling piece of memoir readers will love and share.

Such meaty course. At first, I felt I had not gotten my money's worth. But watching all six through, then going back and working with the workbook gave me such clarity.
Use universal themes. It sounds so simple. Its not. Well worth it.
Loved it, You are so clear, great speaking voice and charm. The message is still a little fuzzy for me which is a good thing in my case. The truer it is , the harder it is to break bad habits.
Thanks so much for the opportunity to look at this from a different perspective.

This is the perfect course for anyone that wants to write memoir. it’s got helpful formulas to use, tips on topics, arguments and guidance on scenes to use. Instructor Is clear and easy to listen to. You can listen to course over and over again.
I purchased this course and listened to the entire 6 episodes at least 3 or 4 times and I have fully completed the accompanying workbook. I found it to be extremely worthwhile for walking me through all the structural and other craft related considerations for my memoir. Marion is a brilliant engaging instructor and expert. My true memoir guru. I highly recommend all her classes and coaching services - but this course in particular has guided me enormously.
